POLL: What kind of smilies do we want?

Everyone agrees that we need more smilies.

Our new software comes with the newer "sprite" emoticons like so:

The old board had the traditional emojis like so:

Right now we are using both. We can add more of either type, although there are many more of the traditional kind.

Which do you like better?

I prefer the old ones, but that might just be because I am used to them. A mix might be good.

I'm not sure I care that much but do miss the old appearance probably just being old-farty.

We do need rating stars for over-inflated opinions of tremendous albums/movies

Agree about the stars. I've had trouble finding a suitable set but will look again.

I'm with Zeebs. I really miss the old set we had. The sprites are harder for me to see. Not as much contrast.
