Oh, hi! Sam here. I've been at MG since the beginning in 2007. Ten years later, somehow I wound up in charge of moving this forum to a new online home, a responsibility for which I had no apparent qualifications. Fortunately I was able to hide my shortcomings behind a great team of admins, Unsom and Zeeba, and the best mods on the net.
I've been collecting and studying just about every kind of music in all formats for many years. In addition I'm an omnivorous reader and, with the beguiling Mrs. Ojai, love to explore food and wine.
When I'm not hanging out here at Music Gourmets, I'm practicing law in L.A. We have a home in Ojai (pop. 7,000), about 90 minutes from the city.
