Turning off email notices

Is there a way to turn off ALL email messages coming into my personal email? I have clicked "stop notifications" and "unwatch thread" repeatedly throughout the forums, yet continue to receive emails in my personal email in-box telling me there have been responses to various threads.

I have also unchecked every box in "Alert Preferences".....yet the emails continue.

Happens to me here, but not on TB. Settings are the same. When replying click more options. You will see two boxes. Unclick the email one. May work.
@Nickyboy please respond to check my theory.
 
There is a "disable all emails" link at the bottom of all emails. Click it and they will be gone. Be careful, though. I think it applies to Conversations, too.

I have found the easiest way is when replying to a thread that you get emails on go to the more options button and disabled the email checkmark. So far it seems to work.
