Yesterday I went to an actual theater to watch Rear Window (1954). It's 70 this year, and it continues to deliver. I'd forgotten how expertly Hitchcock does sexy with Kelly and Stewart exchanging hot-and-bothered, but muffled sweet nothings through their locked lips. So refreshing to see...

Last Saturday: Cairo Station (1958) Thought-provoking film that explores questions of desire, gender violence, disability, and labor in a rather short duration (less than 90 minutes).
