Can You Dig It? The Vegetable Garden Thread

Well, we finally got a break from the (seemingly) non-stop rain and cool/cold weather and got everything else planted. A variety of tomatoes, eggplant, hot and sweet peppers went in. Already planted and happy are various lettuces, cabbages, kale, carrots, radishes, herbs, peas, beans, potatoes, garlic, horseradish, celeriac, kohlrabi, mache, Swiss chard.
Finally finished with asparagus for the season. >burp<
And the gypsy moths did a number on our fruit trees. I think I might have enough sour cherries to fit in my hand this year, and I don't see any apples or peaches. The dwarf pear, however, is loaded, as are the blueberry bushes. The raspberry canes are growing strong and the rhubarb is gigantic.

Anybody growing anything interesting this year?

I have a few peaches on an itty bitty two year old tree.
Nice! Is this the first year with fruit? Ours always get to the size of golf balls and then just shrivel up, mold, and fall off. Might be time to get rid of the tree.

Yup. I got flowers last year, but nothing set.

My garden is doing well. Tomatoes are either flowering or fruiting at this point. And with 20 plants, I hope to have a lot. The dill is insane. Everything else seems to be doing good as well.

Cucumbers, cucumbers, cucumbers. I have been putting up jars of bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, garlic pickles,Korean chili pickles, and am going to try and Indian recipe today for pickles with garam massala.
