Worm posted this issue in the bugs thread but it deserves one of its own. Like many things, I know nothing about smilies. I know they can be added to our forum but haven't found a set similar to the ones from the old board.

Does anyone know where they came from? Suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot!
 
Sam, unless someone already knows this, I'd be happy to look into it later this week (my schedule clears up a little bit). You and Rick have done so much already, would love to contribute more :)
 
Since I'm the one who brought it up, I will see what I can learn on the googles. I may not understand what I find, though. ;)

A couple random observations about the new forum-type emojis:
Eek :eek: looks like our old drool guy.
And roll eyes :rolleyes: looks like you're smiling at the post above yours.

Yes, I agree that those two sprites are weak. So, I'll knock 'em out in favor of the old style. :boxing:
