Adrenaline Mob dies in wreck

The bassist for the metal band Adrenaline Mob was killed in a three-car accident on a Florida highway that injured seven others.
The Florida Highway Patrol says David Zablidowsky died when a tractor-trailer veered off the highway on Friday into the band’s RV, which had pulled over to repair a flat tire.
The 36-year old Zablidowsky also had stints with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and ZO2. Authorities say one person is listed in critical condition and six others are reported as serious.
The Gainesville Sun reported that the band was traveling from Biloxi, Mississippi, to St. Petersburg, Florida, where they were scheduled to perform on Friday

Can't forget his great sessions guitar work with the Wrecking Crew

From AV Club:
Campbell’s indelible guitar work can be heard on classics like “Strangers In the Night,” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” “Viva Las Vegas,” “California Dreamin’,” and “I’m A Believer,” as well as most of The Beach Boys’ landmark Pet Sounds

Saw him in Tucson in 2012 and though he was clearly in midstage Alzheimers, he would take off on a guitar solo in the middle of a song and extend it for minutes on end, the band would let him go and every jaw in the house would drop.
I'm not kidding, it was UNREAL how good it was.

His success came only after years of struggle and obscurity. It's a shame that he lost the ability to give and receive joy through music before his life ended.
