Your lunch sounds delicious. I have been having cravings for falafel pockets and gyros lately. Might need to visit my Middle Eastern sandwich spot soon.

A friend was in town for a visit so we went out for lunch to a restaurant in Providence that opened a few weeks after we moved, so this was my first visit there. I had moules & frites. The mussels were steamed with fennel, coriander, garlic, ouzo, and lemon juice. They were also the largest mussels I have ever seen in my life. The cooking broth was delicious! I also got a bowl of their clam chowder with bacon and corn. I have no idea how they made it, but it was fantastic. And I drank a beer from a local brewery called Whalers. The beer was an American Pale Ale and had a very nice mix of floral and bitter notes. I actually stopped off on the way home to buy a six-pack. :nickyboy::nickyboy::nickyboy::nickyboy::nickyboy:

I had two McDoubles from McD's, which is apparently the cheapest thing that's filling that you can get there now. Not that I was opposed to paying $8-9 for a regular meal, but the quality of the food just isn't worth it. If only Wendy's wasn't too far away to be inconvenient.
