Various Artists - Lipstick, Powder & Paint: A Decade Of Girls 1952-1962 (comp. 2014)

This highly listenable 3 CD set exhaustively documents the evolution of female pop singers during a key time period stretching from Rosemary Clooney to Timi Yuro. It offers both hits and rarities, but the emphasis is on unfamiliar and one hit artists. So we get hard-to-find obscurities like Bonnie Lou (Tennessee Wig Walk), The Kaye Sisters (Love Me Forever), Yolanda (With This Kiss), Babs Tino (Forgive Me For Giving You Such a Bad Time). 90 songs plus a well-written booklet with pictures of every record.

Highly recommended - and it's available for trade on Music Boomerang.

Thanks for the trade Sam!

Incoming:
Jets To Brazil 'Perfecting Loneliness' (bought it when it came out then sold it...giving it another go!)

...and these 2 from earcartoons (!):
Kenny Burrell 'All Day Long/All Night Long' 2 CD set
Milt Jackson/Coleman Hawkins 'Bean Bags'

so...I hit him back with:

Various Artists: 'Teen Scene - Gems From The Fontana Vaults' 3 CD set

Others shipped out:
Husker Du 'Warehouse : Songs And Stories'
Explosions In The Sky 'All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone'

Jawbox?

I know Jawbreaker is playing a reunion show/headlining...

I'd give a body part to be able to go...

One of my favorite bands.

In what ways, if any, does MusicBoomerang ding one of its members for not sending a CD as described?

Alternatively, do they provide a credit back in such an instance?

P.S. Never mind. I just received a credit back. I would rather have received the CD as described.

MB doesn't "ding" the member at all, unless there are chronic issues. I don't recall ever hearing of a problem child though.

In what way was it not as described?

Just the disc and front art. Absolutely no back art.

I tore the package apart to confirm that it had really not been sent.

Just to be certain you are 100% sure your request setting for that disc was ALL art as opposed to ANY?
I rechecked before I made the ding, as I could not be sure. In this instance, I had asked for all-art, non-promo.

The sender also did not get the Gold Boomerang. I'm cruel-but-fair that way.

There was one trader that had sent scratched, damaged, missing art more than a couple times...but he hasn't been online in a while.
