One of the most popular features over at www.MusicBoomerang.com is their forum section where traders can tout their wares. I'm going to start this thread for the same purpose here, to address the needs of the highly sophisticated Music Gourmets membership.

Feel free to post here any interesting CD's you have available for trade over at Da Boom. Once they are snapped up, please mark your post. Happy trading!

Various Artists - The Commodore Story (2 CD)

GONE!

This set compiles 40 classic performances from America's first jazz label, newly remastered from the original acetates. Included are Billie Holiday, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Benny Goodman, Ben Webster, Art Tatum, Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton and many more. Also included is a 52-page booklet by Dan Morganstern, chock full of rare photos and a full discography.

This set includes both discs, the CD-sized booklet and both covers, everything in fine condition. It was produced for the old style "fat" double CD jewel boxes and I will include a brand new one.

BEWARE! This set originally came with an outer cardboard mini-box which is pictured below but NOT INCLUDED. Please pm me if you have questions.

All CD's are mint, purchased new, long out-of-print. This French label presented the complete works of dozens of key artists in chronological order with complete discographies. Many extreme rarities were included. Grab 'em while you can.
