Only today discovered that the theme from the TV show Maude (“And Then There’s Maude”) was sung by Donny Hathaway
Next thing you’ll tell me is that the them from Beretta was sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

I had the chance to attend a taping of “Maude”. Mary Tyler Moore’s humanistic style of comedy was always more to my liking than the sarcastic and oh so politically hip efforts of Norman Lear. But Bea Arthur was a hell of a stage actress, and the supporting ensemble of Bill Macy, Adrienne Barbeau and Conrad Bain were all superb.Only today discovered that the theme from the TV show Maude (“And Then There’s Maude”) was sung by Donny Hathaway
