The Mojo Collection: The Ultimate Music Companion

Great pickup @axolotl , very surprised that a UK based periodical/list that goes deep on late 60s psych and baroque pop would not include the low hanging fruit of Zep's first 2 albums (especially II). May have to go back to the source book to see if I missed 'em (but I don't think so). Zep will inevitably make an appearance - perhaps they're including III, Zoso/IV and Physical Graffiti and wanted to put a cap on albums per groups not named the Beatles.

Re: Sabbath: I have no issue with these two albums here - they kick ass and had tremendous impact on metal's development

But when it comes to guitar-based Brit-blues, it does seem a tad askew to include, say, Beck-ola (after picking Beck's debut album) and not Zep I or II

Interesting selection here choosing a Little Milton album over say, a more known soul musician of the era (say Wilson Pickett). I think I'd even go James Carr over Little Milton with lesser known classic late 60s/early 70s soul albums.. More popular in the UK? I don't think so.
Still, I enjoy Mojo's soul inclusions throughout this series and like this one too.
