It's been awhile, but definitely a nice, enjoyable synthpop album with just the right amount of lounge schmatz with some of the covers (e.g. "Do You Know the Way to San Jose")

I had forgotten about the cover of Bruce's "Born to Run" which is just OK but an interesting choice just the same.

Already two from Dexys Midnight Runners? Isn't this their third studio album?

Disclaimer: True thoughts may be concealed from public view.
This is indeed their third album - an album that was initially panned by critics and suffered from lack of a single and no publicity from the band. It's good but much more subdued than their first two. Big Dexys fan here (as much as one can be for a three album group - not counting decades-later reunion) - would definitely include their debut, a classic. I like Too-Rye-Ay, their most popular, but wouldn't put that one or this one on a list like this one.
That being said, as I don't break this one out too often, happy to spin it today
