I thought it was very good...more in line with the earlier more rocking stuff than 1372 Overton Park and Women & Work...both of which I didn't really get into.
I've always liked her but had NO idea she had something like this in her. Very strong album of the year candidate...and that just has to be hubby's guitar tearing it up on "Eve's Daughter".
Not much music listening over the past 10 days and boy did I miss it. So yesterday got going again on the Acclaimed Music playlist (posts later).
Part of my trip was visiting Walt Disney World which my kids despite getting a bit older (as kids do) still really enjoy.
One of my favorite moments at Disney is walking onto Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom and hearing old songs ("Maple Leaf Rag", "Kansas City" from Oklahoma!) - heard "Little Brown Jug" and immediately thought "When I get back I'm gonna break out some Glenn Miller".
This is a nice 47 track collection - too much for most, too few for folks like OjaiSam but perfect for me
