What are you listening to? February 2022

^ Carl Nielsen would easily be in my top 15 composers (GOAT), so he can do whatever he wants.

I have yet to hear those works, but might spend the dosh for a set like that.

P. S. Be honest, now. Do you even have any aquavit on-hand?

I don't know what is more astounding: the fact that Mozart created so much fine music or that Bernstein could put down the baton and acquit himself so well on piano. Simply breathtaking.

I was thinking today that it's astounding that we're supposed to believe that Beethoven was deaf.
