V/A ~ As Long as You're Living Yours: A Tribute to Keith Jarrett (2000)

There are some stalwarts on this (Joe Lovano, Don Byron, Tom Harrell, John Scofield, Bob James, Chucho Valdez), some lesser-knowns (Flux Quartet, D.D. Jackson, George Garzone), and some crossover artists (Bruce Hornsby, Andy Sommers).

It's good, albeit uneven.

Alice Cooper - Killer (1971)

Alice Cooper - Killer - album cover

After Alice Cooper, breaking out my 1975 playlist - not sure I'll get through all 100+ songs but what a year for music

Currently Jefferson Airplane's "Miracles" which has always been one of my favorite light rock/AM cheese of the era (even when I was younger and didn't know how dirty the song was). Quite the contrast from "Love is the Drug" which preceded it and now "Low Rider" which follows it - but it still works! "Kashmir", "Tangled Up In Blue", "Born to Run", "Rhiannon", "Young Americans" - the list goes on. Again, amazing year!
