Louis Armstrong - The Real Ambassadors (1962)

Dave Brubeck and his wife, Iola, came up with the idea of a jazz musical based on their experiences with State Department world tours. It was performed at the 1962 Newport Jazz Festival and revived 40 years later. The music is pretty forgettable but this album is still a fascinating period piece, name checking everything from the Cold War to the Greek student riots to the birth of Ghana.

Often, when I don't want to listen to an album or even a specific genre but I don't want to go through the trouble of choosing a new song after each one, I do a search on my music player for certain words. The last couple of days I've listened to music this way searching on "Falling" and "Affair". Just finished "find". Included on the Find list were ...

"Find My Way" - Cameo - 1977
"Find That Love Again" - Phonte - 2018
"Got To Find My Own Place" - Stanley Clarke - 1978
