What's your favorite double album?

I regret that the last time that I listened to BoB from start-to-finish was probably a minute after the last time that I contemplated what the NYT style book had to say on any topic whatsoever. o_O

In other words, would you clarify that last remark?

P.S. Does it have to do with the spelling of blond(e)?

The "e" in blond(e) stands for elegance.

An aside story: a former professor of mine bought an old stone farm house out in the country many years ago. It had been abandoned for a few years. When they moved in, they quickly found that the house was absolutely infested with bull snakes. These are not small snakes. They consulted with the locals about what to do. They said "live in the house". Apparently bull snakes like it nice and quiet. He said they put Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" on the stereo at almost full volume repeatedly and stomped around in heavy boots for about four days. Snakes were gone and never came back in. Was it the boots or Dylan's voice? We will never know. Only that it worked.

I would be concerned with a dwelling that allows snakes to come in. Easy to have rats/mice come in, too.

Chicago - Chicago Transit Authority (1969)

Before they sold out and Terry Kath died, these guys could rock.
If I listened to that more, I probably would have thought to include it. They were great back then. I should listen to their music more often.

EDIT: Actually, if I owned it, that would help me listen to it more often. I know I've heard that before (maybe digitally), and I've certainly heard the songs from that included on their greatest hits album.
