That's weird. Mod powers should be contained to the forum(s) you're a mod of. I just checked the permissions for the Music forum and they're how I set them up. Either there's something that's not understood or all moderators have powers in all forums.

When Axo replied to my photo in the Pictures thread, the quote box says "View attachment 247", rather than the name I gave the image. Is this just a feature of this software, or can it be changed to show the name I gave the file or not? Otherwise I guess we should all start adding a sentence to our posts with the title of the image we are posting.

Just a side note, but when I entered the site more recently, I saw somewhere a reference to a 2300 year old Sequoia, or some such designation, which I attributed to the photo at-issue.
When I scrolled over there, it did not appear with the photo at all, and now I question my sanity in ways I wish this site would not keep bringing to my attention.
ETA: Now I note, if I press on View Image, it quite clearly says 3200 year old Sequoia. I will need to do this more often.

Sorry but I don't see this as an option, Nick. Auto numbering attachments helps the software track them.
Please note that URL hotlinks and Instagram links do display as actual pictures in replies. The software prefers theses to uploads.
