I got 2 of my pieces of Schiit together...the Modi 2 and the SYS...my third is the later purchased Mani, so I could have a turntable by the computer when I'm listening to vinyl there rather than on the big system. My Modi 2 bit the dust and I ordered another one...they e-mailed me 2 days later with a link to a press release about the 3 and let me know they would be shipping me a 3 instead.

TBH, I’m inclined to stick to Spotify, because it has more of the music I’m interested in.

I've never understood why some audiophiles put their two channel gear on the floor. Is it the case they spent so much money on the equipment, they're too broke to buy furniture?

Some objects are extremely heavy, such as power amps, and while there may be furniture to accommodate their mass, there may be downsides to placing them on furniture. Also, many 'philes use isolation or damping under their gear, but above the floor.
Maybe the primary reason is that these men have finally achieved awesome mancave status. Man place item in cave on floor, not foo-foo furniture. That's for the turntable.

I'm quite happy with the CD quality tier of Tidal. Now, if Qobuz offers a free trial period, I'm sure I'll try it and see if they have all of the songs/albums I have saved (and check the sound quality).

My setup as it stands today. New computer, new monitor, new keyboard and trackpad, and a recently bought Schiit Vali 2 to replace the one I sold. I keep coming back to it (the Vali 2), and I think I would have to spend a lot more money to find a headphone amp I liked more.
