I wonder about this placement. Not the seating position, as I understand that that is not the loveseat for listening, but rather that the speakers are left virtually out in the open, without reference to walls or corners.

Schiit is selling their ugly turntable now.

Ugly might be in the eye of the beholder. It appears functional and does not appear to rely on suspension.

It probably would not be my first choice, as I am quite happy with my LP12.

I grok that. I remember the first time I laid eyes on a hydraulic transcription turntable.



Incidentally, it was also the first time I'd heard Magnepans.

This was while I was working in a Circuit City outlet store in Springfield, VA, in 1976.
