My 15-year old rice cooker (Zojirushi) works well, but the housing holding the switch has snapped off the cooker. It's still attached via the plastic wrapped wire and the cooker works great, but I've thought of replacing it. Maybe? Maybe not?
It gets a lot of use. As often as three times a week.

See if you can get the replacement part from the manufacturer before buying a new cooker.
We have a small InstaPot and it makes phenomenal rice in 10 minutes.

One of my daughters loves Wendy's. The downside locally is nearly every Wendy's is understaffed and when 1 or 2 employees fail to show up for a shift, the restaurant is (short)staffed and "open" but not serving orders. Or when they are open, it's only drive thru because they don't have enough employees to man the inside cash register.
