The new Purple Mountains, probably anything by Sun Kil Moon after Ghosts of the Great Highway.

My listening habits are just not conducive to really paying attention to lyrics. And if I get the sense that the lyrics are well-written, I think it’s a waste for me to listen.

There is a certain style of music that is designed to showcase the words, too.

That's funny. I always assumed when I sat in a doctor's waiting room for two hours that the doc was in the back listening to more Mingus.

Edit: truth be told, I haven't waited long for a doctor's appointment since I was a kid.
