Cash and Lewis never strayed far from the style of their first recordings for Sun and were able to maintain successful careers for decades. Elvis meandered all over the musical map, and basically stopped making interesting recordings a bit more than 10 years after he began.
There is a lesson in here somewhere.
I gotta admit. It's hard for me to sit still during any record in that latter phase.

Bob is a new one on me. He recorded very little but being part of the Opry Staff Band was a big deal in the '60's.This Colonial Beach man played at the Grand Ole Opry with names like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline
