I can’t say I disagree with this rather tepid review. The program for this year’s festival, which I couldn’t attend, didn’t impress me. I have always liked and respected the work of Rhiannon Giddens but the jumble of styles she presented was hard to love. The crowd seemed similarly dazed as they wandered the streets of “downtown” Ojai after the shows.
