I’m not a huge fan of Willie‘s pop stylings, so this is far from my favorite Willie Nelson album. But I have to admit my dislike for it has decreased over the years. By the time I get to it in my Willie Nelson listening project (sometime in the next century) I may have an entirely different opinion.

Ry Cooder - Bop Till You Drop (1979)

Odd selection of 50s/60s covers from Cooder - an enjoyable album, don't get me wrong, and Cooder deserves more attention. Still, I'd go with Paradise and Lunch, Chicken Skin Music, or Into the Purple Valley over this one.
