^ That's sure as hell not Eydie, either.

I talked to four policemen
The judge would not release them
He just kept saying the same thing
He wasn't doing nothing

Lai-ay ay ay...

I talked to Steve and Edie
The crowd was much too greedy
They just kept saying the same thing
They weren't doing nothing

Lai ay ay ay, lai ay ay ay...

I talked to Ron Swaboda
About the russian coda
He just kept saying the same thing
He wasn't doing nothing

Lai ay ay ay, lai ay ay ay...

I'm falling down
I'm falling down
I'm falling down
Falling down
I'm falling
I'm calling...

I talked to Steve and Edie
They're going to help the needy...

Vinyl Spin of the Day.

Geru is joined here by Art Farmer, Jim Hall, Bob Brookmeyer, Bill Crow and Dave Bailey. You won't find a better group, but unfortunately you won't find this album on CD either. :(

Here's to hoping you will ameliorate this grievous situation.

The highlight here has to be The Syncopators' fast paced version of "Mule Train". Those critters are racing right along until they reach the top.
