Vinyl Rip Of The Day.

It's been ten years since this high level honky tonk summit meeting. With Merle's death last year, Willie is truly the last of the last. This collection found all of them in good form as they worked through mostly familiar evergreens from Floyd Tillman, Lefty Frizzell, Harlan Howard and the like. Nothing new, but no one ever did it better than these guys. Time does change everything, taking Buddy Emmons, Johnny Gimble and Boots Randolph from the A-Team musicians featured here.

The vinyl version includes one song missing from the CD.

I found this one in a Goodwill last weekend. I went to look at/over CDs, but an album jacket sticking out looked promising.

Also found three other albums in VG+ condition, including The Allman Brothers Band's Beginnings, Getz Au Go Go, and The Electronic Spirit of Erik Satie.
