New York Philharmonic (Zubin Mehta, cond.) - Music From The Woody Allen Film "Manhattan" (1979)

Back when Woody Allen was in his prime, all he had to do was wave his hand and the New York Phil would whip up a strong batch of George Gershwin tunes for his latest tale of urban life. Ironically, he got the idea for this soundtrack from the Buffalo Philharmonic's fine Gershwin On Broadway collection. That's life in the big city, I guess.

Cheap Trick - Dream Police (1979)

Edit: I was wondering why this album sounded so wonky. I still had the mono switch on from yesterday.
I remember not caring for that so much when it came out. It's a solid album, now.

I liked the Live at Budokan enough, though, except I think something is wrong in the bass department on that one.

P. S. I went to Bass Pro Shops, and everything cleared right up.

Seems some see this as their last good/great one...I still like the two after it a lot...lost me after that, though.

And you're not going to bait me in with that Bass Pro Shops line.
