Prince - Purple Rain (Super Deluxe Edition) (1984/2017)

Listening to the vault disc, which should have been at least 2 discs. I have boots with much more than 1 disc worth of material from this era. I mean they should have at least released the brilliant 7+ minute version of "17 Days".

Ike & Tina Turner - What You Hear Is What You Get: Live At Carnegie Hall (1971)

Always a killer live act.

Bobby Watson & the "I Have A Dream" Project - Check Cashing Day (2013)

A few days late, I'm listening to this album which Watson released in honor of the 50th anniversary of MLK's march on Washington and famous speech.

Great Jazz as always from Watson, along with 4 songs that add spoken word observations on the topic from a Kansas City poet.

Tin Berne's Snakeoil - You've Been Watching Me (2015)

Still not my cup o' tea. Somewhat too out there and unstructured to suit me. The best I can say is there are several passages of interesting listening mixed among the other 80% of the album which seemed aimless and pointless. The reviewer at the link, however, gave this 5 stars so ymmv.
