Not quite. I find that if I change my preferences to exclude "Rich Text" posting, I can get the forum to accept the image portion of the posting text generated by RYM. That means cutting the first half of the RYM-text to use as the link part of my post, and adding "http:" to the second half of the RYM-text to create the album cover image. Doing that is okay for me, but it's too cumbersome a solution for most anyone else who isn't obsessed with it. In fact, it's hardly a solution at all.

I'll keep looking. The answer is out there, somewhere.

Typing the above response minutes ago, it hit me. "Why not simply add the "http:" in the image part of the entire RYM-text. I did that and got the second album cover above. The one that is actually linked to the RYM page.

Now, if only there was a way to have XF automatically insert "http:" where it belongs. ... ... ...

His work since leaving the Truckers is so much better than what they have put out since.

Haven't heard that one, yet (turntable and CD player are on a truck somewhere) but totally agree. American Band is easily best DBT since he's left but it didn't have to aim that high.

Axo, currently there is a problem with posting RYM images, similar to something that happened on the other MG a while back. I discovered a workaround. Let's say you want to post the album cover to Sting's Dream Of The Blue Turtles.

1) Here is the text we get from RYM. I added a space after the initial [ and the [ preceding "img" to preserve the actual text in this post

2) Here is what would appear if you pasted the above RYM text into a post:

3) To correct the bug, insert "http:" after " [ img] " but before "//" in the original RYM text. I capitalized it, bolded it, and enlarged it to make it easier to see, but you don't have to do all that. Also, don't insert any spaces that I did to preserve the text for viewing.

When you post the above link with http: added (without my added spaces,) you get this ....
