Tommy's last album on Roulette found him in Nashville, following the country-rock trail blazed by Dylan, Ringo, The Byrds and others. His sessions featured the cream of the A-Team players, including Buddy Harman, Charlie McCoy, Buddy Spicher, Pete Drake and Pig Robbins. There's a definite Elvis connection here with D.J. Fontana on drums and Scotty Moore behind the board.

:4.5: on the Sam-O-Meter. For sure a hidden gem if not a Lost Classic.

Anouar Brahem ~ Conte de l'incroyable amour (1992)

Related to why I have not been posting my listens for the last several weeks, today I had my modem upgraded.

Now, I could go back in time and say that I have listened to Claude Williamson Trio; Om Frequency; Stephen Scott; Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders, and the London Symphony Orchestra; Ali Farka Toure with Ry Cooder; Peter Paulsen Trio; The Denison-Kimball Trio; Philip Glass; Django Bates; Cafe Tacvba; Ensemble Al-Asdeka; Duo Yumeno; The Moon Seven Times; Blithe Field; Procol Harum; Labradford; The Heliocentrics; Dakota Suite; Mingus; Susumu Yokota; Rodrigo Leao; Gentle Waves; georgia's Horse; William Parker; Pete Robbins; Swing Gitan; Seam; Seaworthy; Yves Duteil; Over the Rhine; and Scott Dubois over my lull in posting.

You will just have to wonder which ones.
