Tommy James - My Head, My Bed and My Red Guitar (1971)
flisten
Tommy's last album on Roulette found him in Nashville, following the country-rock trail blazed by Dylan, Ringo, The Byrds and others. His sessions featured the cream of the A-Team players, including Buddy Harman, Charlie McCoy, Buddy Spicher, Pete Drake and Pig Robbins. There's a definite Elvis connection here with D.J. Fontana on drums and Scotty Moore behind the board.
on the Sam-O-Meter. For sure a hidden gem if not a Lost Classic.
