I was looking through the tracklist.

I didn't notice that they performed "Badge."

Was the band just saying, "We don't need no steenking Badge"?
I dunno why. Maybe because they didn't have George Harrison to replicate his guitar work from the studio version. I just learned from George as quoted in Wiki that the song title was a mixup:

"I helped Eric write "Badge" you know. Each of them had to come up with a song for that Goodbye Cream album and Eric didn't have his written. We were working across from each other and I was writing the lyrics down and we came to the middle part so I wrote 'Bridge.' Eric read it upside down and cracked up laughing – 'What's BADGE?' he said. After that, Ringo walked in drunk and gave us that line about the swans living in the park."

And Mabel still shakes her head over that incident. The kid, not so much.

Joe Henderson - Joe Henderson In Japan (1973)

Unfortunately, the reading part of this exercise was repeatedly interrupted by JazzyChildren and I barely got through enough pages to mention.

Fortunately, even with the interruptions, the music part of this exercise was magnificent!
