Elvis Costello & The Imposters - Look Now (2018)

The vinyl is so much easier to listen to and better sounding than the master version on Tidal. Really loving this album. He did several of the songs last week, and he had a big smile from the very positive reaction they received.

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (1991)

Listening to the full analog vinyl remaster released earlier in the year...a beast.

Ira Sullivan - Peace (Galaxy 1979)

Vinyl Rip Of The Day.

I can't imagine why this marvelous album has never appeared digitally. The versatile Ira performs on trumpet, flugelhorn, flute, alto flute, soprano sax and tenor sax. Joining him are the criminally obscure John Heard and Joe Diorio on bass and guitar, respectively along with the thankfully better known Billy Higgins and Kenneth Nash handling percussion. The five longish songs range from accessible avant garde to engagingly mellow, with lots of stylistic variety and fresh ideas.

:4.5: on the Sam-O-Meter.

The Association - Live (1970)

This energetic double live LP was recorded in front of those wild and crazy Utes at the University of Utah. It holds up far better than one might think.
However, apparently the band needed oxygen during the show due to the high altitude.
