Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - Classics

It seems strange that my old late 80s Classics series of Alpert & TTB is still probably the best comp, certainly better than the limited streaming options available (their original albums happily are out there)

Odd glitch though - this album, not available, is loaded into my Apple Match and yet when I play the song "Spanish Flea", the system plays "The Lonely Bull". All the other songs are fine, so I wind up just adding "Spanish Flea" From Whipped Cream..to my queue to compensate

I have always oddly felt at home playing the Easy Listening music of this era (early/mid 60s), and while it would be cool to imagine a former life as a greaser listening to Elvis or as a hippie hanging out in San Fran listening to the Airplane, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities that my former life is that of a cardigan-wearing, pipe smoking Fred MacMurray type spinning Ray Conniff albums on my HiFi
