This may be pseudo jazz, but man, do I love this song. So full of grace.

Sophomore or Junior of college. Come home for fall or winter break (don't remember which). Visited my high school buddy John at his frat house for a party. Met an awesome girl named Beth Hunter there and hit it off. Walked back to her apartment in the snow, and listened to this until the sun came up. We were doing other things together in the mean time. Nickyboy's lost, but well remembered youth.

San's post about Nena got me listening to her albums and watching her videos again. Here is one, that I am sure I have posted before, with Peter Heppner. He was the lead singer from Berlin band Wolfsheim . She is stunning, as far as I am concerned. I would walk to the ends of the earth for her. Your mileage may vary, and most likely does. She's got a great voice and it goes well with Heppner's smoothness. He is the epitome of Teutonic cool. This is a later rerecording of an original Nena hit that was more bouncy, but I think Heppner's reworking and slowing it down works well.
