Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
And here is the new (yet to come) super audiophile Schiit audio product to mate with Urd. Any ideas on naming it with Nors mythology?www.head-fi.org
Dave and Jason from Schiit discuss a new product idea.
Go for closed back. Young people are noisy and just for him to enjoy the music closed is better, not to mention more considerate of any dorm mates. Not sure if there’s a better thread to put this on so here goes:
Looking for advice on a good pair of headphones that my son would like to use for his turntable (Audio Technica). Looking for a nice pair but not super expensive
It’s for his dorm - i guess I’ll have to get a nice long cord too - I think his turntable can do Bluetooth headphones but not sure that’s what he’s looking for as he’s a budding vinyl snob.
Grado SR80x gets good reviews and seems like a nice cost ($100-125) but I guess the open back design leads to sound leaking into room which might not be ideal with a roommate. But as I don’t know much about this might not be too loud/bothersome. I could go higher - above $200 seems too much
