Feel free to add earlier decades when it is my turn. I'm not saying that I won't do something from 1960-2017, but there was some awfully good music put out 1930-1960 as well.

I don’t mind going to 1955, but prior to that, it’s really smaller collections of singles or books of 78’s. In addition, didn’t want to make it harder for folks who really don’t listen to that far back. Figured most could find an album they know and love from 1960 onward

A person could use a compilation CD of works that were recorded prior to that onset year; could they not? This would be the manner in which most classical music is known to us in this day, aside from concerts.

Apropos of nothing at all, does anybody know where I can sell some kettle drums, harpsichords, and a few viola da gambas? If you buy all 4 of the violas, I will throw in a sackbut and two shawns for free.
