Yesterday afternoon we made a Polish kugiel. It's a loaf of finely grated potatoes, fried onions and kielbasa, garlic, marjoram, and eggs which is baked. Then you let it set overnight in the fridge. You can eat it cold or warmed to room temp. Going to have a slice for breakfast today. It's served with a dollop of sour cream that is mixed with grated horseradish. I'll have to dig some up when the sun comes up.
