I don't know whether I can look at the world the same way, again. But, that's okay.

My read is the American/Snoopy version came out first, and the Canadian version came out with the altered names shortly thereafter.

Delighted about Roxy Music and The Zombies neither of whom I thought would get it
Janet Jackson makes sense (though not rock) given how big her singles/albums were and based on Hall at least making mild efforts to be inclusive to popular, dance, R&B, or hip hop music
Def Leppard - I'm fine with as a popular entry
Stevie Nicks - she had one really good album (certainly no Blonde on Blonde) and overall like 7 singles (one could argue the Zombies had a less prominent career granted with less recordings and less singles). She's already inducted as part of Fleetwood Mac

Now you can resume not caring about this until I bring it up next year :)

I care.

Def Leppard - Not surprised but also not one I would have chosen. Love their first 3...always felt Hysteria was too long and overrated...decent but nothing really great after that one. I did actually see them in July and have to say they are great live.
Radiohead - Wouldn't have been my choice, but I'm not surprised that they got in. Heck, I'm surprised they didn't get in last year.
Janet Jackson - I can get behind this choice. Great artist...lots of great songs...wildly popular to a diverse group of people.
The Cure - Yes...legends. Lots of great music and wildly influential.
Roxy Music - A bit surprised by this one but not against it. I think I respect more than like them, although I do enjoy their music.
The Zombies - Yes!!!! I've always felt they were way more than just their 3 hits here in America. Really glad to see them get their due.
Stevie Nicks - Not surprised but feel that her induction with Fleetwood Mac should suffice.
