Owsley "Bear" Stanley was a legend among Deadheads for his sonic engineering and heads in general for his chemical experiments. When he wasn't busy building the Wall Of Sound or manufacturing LSD, he was making live recordings of a wide variety of artists. Lots of information can be found here:

The foundation website gives the scoop on this album:

These recordings showcase an early incarnation of the band with Duane Allman in full form and featuring the three earliest known live concert recordings of “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” The tapes were recorded just one year before the band’s landmark At Fillmore East album from the same venue. The Deluxe Edition 3-CD set and high-resolution FLAC files for digital download include all of Bear’s recordings from these three historic sets, including never before released material from each performance. These tapes were transferred and restored to the most exacting audiophile standards, utilizing state-of-the-art Plangent Processes techniques to remove subtle timing distortions created by the recording and playback devices.

:4.5: on the Sam-O-Meter. As prequels go, Bear did much better than George Lucas.

Slade - Slade Alive! (1972)

One of the hottest live albums ever recorded. The boys from Wolverhampton manage to make even John Sebastian's mellow "Darling Be Home Soon" sound like a threat. The closing cover of "Born To Be Wild" more than lives up to the title.

:5.0: on the Sam-O-Meter.

Blondie - Out In The Streets (rec. 1974-5, rel. 2022)

The first disc of the astounding, long-awaited Blondie Against The Odds box starts us off with a 1974 rehearsal tape and a 1975 demo session. That may sound pretty mundane but these 8 songs bristle with an intense energy that foreshadowed the successes to come. Sound quality is surprisingly good given the raw source material.
