Read the story today about Tony doing a couple of recent Radio City shows with Lady Gaga - he's 95 yo and has some degree of Alzheimer's disease but still was up there crooning - go Tony!!

I never realized that the box set differed from the original 25 volume "Have A Nice Day" series until I checked Wiki:

n 1998, Rhino released Have A Nice Decade: The 70s Pop Culture Box, a seven-disc compilation with 172 songs, 82 of which could be found on the Have a Nice Day series. Some songs contain sound snippets of the decade at the end of the song. In addition, more soul, rhythm and blues and disco are added. Some well-known artists (for example, David Bowie, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens) have songs on this compilation as well.

This appears to be the only performance on Spotify by Earl Wild of a Nikolai Medtner composition. It is absolutely breathtaking. I have a weakness for obscure Russian composers but must admit that he was new to me. Thanks, Axo!

I knew that this was released as a 12" LP as well as as two 10" long players
But just learned it was ALSO released as four 45 rpm EPs each containing 4 songs
What a strange time for music marketing.
