Vera Lynn- Hits of the Blitz (1962)

The "Voice of the Forces" sang beautiful standards and jazz vocals at her peak in the 40s and 50s. Her biggest hits were "We'll Meet Again" and "White Cliffs of Dover". I wish she had done a duet album with Bing Crosby. Smoother than warm honey.
This. :judge:

Wonder where they found all that rubble 20 years after the Luftwaffe flew away?

Lost & Found - Sun's Gonna Shine (1985)

With this album, their 3rd for Rebel Records and 6th overall, L&F finally escaped the long shadow of The Country Gentlemen. Contemporary harmonies and fresh songs brought the group to the forefront of modern bluegrass ten years after it formed. A lot more fine music was just ahead.

Country song title of the week: "The Man Who Wrote 'Home Sweet Home' Never Was A Married Man".
