Haven't listened to that one in a while.
================================

NL: Linda Ronstadt

Breaks my heart that this stunning voice has been silenced.

Amen x 2. I remember I was painting the master bdrm in 2014, listening to an NPR interview when she said that due to MS she simply couldn't sing anymore. A little parade of tears did a funeral march out of the corner of my right eye

Tom Harrell - Colors Of A Dream (2013)

Harrell, who is afflicted with schixophrenia, teamed up with Esperanza Spalding, who is afflicted with immense beauty, and a very fine modern Jazz album was created.

Three horns, two basses, drums, no piano or guitar. Lots o' fun.

Sounds cool - gotta remember to check that out

Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over the Sea (1998)

Interestingly my 15 year old read somewhere this was a good album and decided to listen. So I thought I’d break it out too. Proud my guy is branching in out into interesting music genres on his own. I must say though this is a fine album, I’ve never embraced the opinion of it’s greatness (several critics would out in top 100 ever and it was certainly consider by many the best of its year), but haven’t broken it out in at least one year so worth a listen.

Red Molly - James (2010)

Three women who sing folk music in nice harmonies, accompanying themselves on banjo, mandolin, dobro, guitar and the like. I've never listened to this particular album of theirs. I'm only one track in -- a slow ballad, one with which you'd normally finish off the album. Interesting choice. We'll see how it goes.
