Pink Floyd - The Wall Rebuilt The Complete Version (Bootleg, 2019)

Basically, a reimagining and merging of The Wall and The Final Cut. It sorta works because The Final Cut tracks were an offshoot of The Wall sessions. There is some "deep fake" Tom Foolery going on and the audio quality is iffy in various places. They used tech to make Roger Waters sing lyrics he never actually did (unless they raided a vault somewhere). It sounds awkward. Still highly entertaining, but doesn't justify 4 (!) CDs.

It's Eilen Jewell day.

Eilen Jewell - Gypsy (2019)

Eilen Jewell - Down Hearted Blues (2017)

Eilen Jewell - Sundown Over Ghost Town (2015)

A very versatile and interesting singer/songwriter. The 2019 album is a nice mashup of songs with various styles, including , for instance, fiddle on some songs, horn sections on others, steel guitar on some and one even has herself overdubbed several times to make somewhat of a chorus sound. The 2017 album is covers of blues songs. The 2015 album has a cowboy/western sound to it. All different styles, all performed quite handsomely. And all with her very pleasant voice fronting a very competent band.

Eilen Jewell - Queen Of The Minor Key (2011)

Another good album albeit this one's a bit bewildering in its mix of songs. While I like variety, I'm just not sure if surf guitar belongs on the same album as western and rockabilly. Still, a fun listen.
