I only have a passing knowledge of Isbell's stuff (more from his Drive By Truckers days) so brushing up on his solo stuff this week. Concert is Saturday

You're in for a great show!

I think his solo work and his current band are much better than DBT. I've seen Isbell live twice. This last tour was much better than the first. I wholeheartedly second LPF's comment.
