Lynda Kay - Black and Gold

She's a delightful singer. Her previous album "Dream My Darling" was a retro-country effort which had her rightfully compared to Patsy Cline. This is a double-album of "original and cover songs crossing such genres as early 60’s mid-century jazz and classic Bacharach pop to 70’s roots-rock and Memphis-soul." Her voice is still delightful in this, but she gets a little buried in the production and I just prefer her in that retro-country style.

Henryk Mikołaj Górecki ~ Kleines Requiem für eine Polka; Harpsichord Concerto; Good Night

Does this guy know how to party on a Friday evening, or what?

ETA: I was referring to me, but if you know how Henryk Mikołaj Górecki parties, or even how his name is pronounced, please feel free to reply.

Hello Seahorse! ~ Hoy a las Ocho (2008)

Twee Pop, Latin Alternative

When I said that another EP was one of my three favorite EPs of all time, I had forgotten about this one.

For the record then, I have four favorite EPs. Then again, they're all on CD. So, I guess it's all off-the-record, after all.
