I take that as a sign that there is much great music out there, and we can't possibly listen to it all more than a handful of times.

That's both sad and joyous.

At least, that's my take on it.

Yes, but how much music is great, but I'll never find out because I didn't listen to it enough? :confused:

My powers of discernment are such that I often have to listen to something a number of times to accurately gauge it.

Aye. That's the rub.

I probably shouldn't immediately take this to an absurd argument, but to me, it's more of (1) is the glass half-empty, (2) is the glass-half-full, (3) hey what's in the glass and is it refillable? rationalization.
