Kris Kristofferson - Closer To The Bone (2009)

Damn. I have to finish a project this evening so I reached into the digital grab bag for something anodyne to fill some time. Instead, out pops this quiet masterpiece. I've always respected Kris' craft more than I liked his ragged voice but CTTB turned me around. These introspective songs with sympathetic acoustic backing suit my late evening mood perfectly. But they sure didn't help me finish my project, did they?
