Schiit Audio Sol turntable
Many established audio manufacturers owe their success, at least partly, to their components' signature sound. Consider the laidback "pipe and slippers" mien of my 1978 Spendor BC-1 loudspeakers, the rich tonal palette of my Shindo Laboratory amplifiers, or the celebrated drive and timing of...www.stereophile.com
Stereophile reviews the Schiit Sol turntable.
Read the beginning, scanned the middle set-up part, read the end.
If I were a turntable, I'd be S-O-L.
Several months ago, my brother sent me his Meridian Digital Converter 203 outboard DAC. It took me many moons to get around to setting it up, and he chided me lovingly but vociferously.

The following is added to allow you to read what certain albums and artists sound (like) with the equipment:

Meridian 203 D/A processor
Gotta get this one written up right away—you never know with digital products. Always something new. Many of us balk at the idea of spending 4k, 3k, or even 2k for an outboard digital processor, when something better will likely come along soon, and maybe for less money.www.stereophile.com
You're using a 31 year old DAC? (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
Is it multibit or R2R?
